With the technology we have today, it is difficult to directly understand the seismic performance of real exsisting structures. Also, it is difficult to grasp the remaining seismic resistance of structures that suffered damage from an earthquake. This project is aimed to promote the use of Strong Earthquake Response Simulator and it's peripheral instruments to as many research institutes as possible, so that new methods can be developed to accurately evaluate the seismic performance of structures that is not possible now using new observation and experiment procedures, and establish the method by every kind of shaking tests and observations.
